It’s God it’s good - Praise and Honor reports to share

Last week I was blessed to meet a Mother with her 17 year old son and 18 year old daughter. They were homless and were sent to Pastor Bruce Hood at Inner City because he has a good heart to help out. I was speaking with them and got to help them get some food from the weekly blessings that Pastor Bruce recieves from Trader Joes. I aslo wa blessed to take the kids to a store to get them something to drink. I also was able to give them a couple of dollars for their pockets. This deeply affected them..We were walking back to the InnerCity office and the girl asked me why I did what I had done…I told them that I am an addict in recovery and that many times persons had helped me in the past. I mentioned that my faith was also part of it as it was a gift from Jesus….The girl was moved and stopped to ask if it was like, “Pay it Forward?” She said, “I get it”. Some day she will help someone else. I was so deeply moved byn her connection with Christ and the seed that was planted even though she might not fully appreciate what He had done. This was an awesome expereince that I lift up to GOD. Thank you so much!

I have made a new friend named Serena. She is the 6 year daughter of a very nice friend of mine named Sindy. They live in Visalia, CA. This last Tuesday I had told Sindy that I had a fever and was not feeling well. The next day I got an e-mail from Sindy saying that when Serena had found out that I was not feeling well that she had asked to be driven to Fresno to make me Hot Cocoa. She thought that it would make me feel better.
This truly touched my heart. What a sweet thing for her to think about. I lift Serena up to God along with Sindy and Delihla. They are special angels, all of them.

I got to listen to Dr Dobson from Focus on the Family interviewing Randy Wilson and his daughters. They were discussing his idea of fathers taking daughters to a Purity Ball. The ball would have the fathers take a pledge to be a man of integrity and to pray over thier daughters. The interview was quite special and I was very impressed. This is an outstanding idea and I encourage people to look at the site here; http://fatherdaughterpurityball.com. May God bless this idea of alignment with His principles of what it is to be a man, and what it is to be pure on all levels. God bless them all!

I attended a Saturday Night service at Clovis Hills Church this week. Pastor Patrick Vance gave his testimony at the pulpit and was very moving. Pastor Steve was speaking on Ownership of our sins and mistakes. The message was well done and was supplemented by a discussion with a former Pastor that had fallen from Grace in ministry.  Two awesome things happened in the service…Pastor Steve spoke about the Pastor owning his sin even though there was a high-percieved loss. He also later asked the body to come forth and pray for and place hands on this man. It was moving and awesome with great worship and a message that was pertinent and in alignment with God’s nature. I was blessed to be there.
